basic information about psi examination:

psi exam is conducted by maharashtra,and only maharashtra candidate can apply for these examination.The link which is given below that gives complete information about exam preaparation and schedule of examination. 
These exam categorize in four steps these are following

1  Preliminary Examination: This is called General Ability Test. Syllabus is of 10th std. Level Questions are in both in English and Marathi mediums (multiple choice 150 Questions). The Exam is generally conducted at all district places in Maharashtra.Candidates successful in Preliminary Exam are called for Main Examination. Marks scored in Preliminary Exam are not counted for final selection.Prelim
Preliminary Examination consist of 150 Questions, 300 Marks and Timing is 11/2 hours.

2 Main examination:
The Main Examination has multiple choice type of questions. Syllabus is of MPSC Civil Service Preliminary exam kind.Question Paper is in both English and Marathi medium.

This exam is conducted at 4 places in Maharashtra: Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Nagpur.Students who clear the Main Examination are called for the Physical Test. after which is the Interview.

3 Physical Test:
After the result of PSI Main Examination there is a Physical Test.

4 Interview:
Only those who score more than 100 marks qualify for the Interview.
75 Marks for Interview
